DRAFT • Household waste pilot rules Accepted Sealed, securely tied bags of ordinary nonhazardous household trash inside the booked 64- or 96-gallon bins. Maximum four bins per booking. Individual bags must be safely liftable and weigh no more than 35 pounds. Bins stay with the customer. Not accepted Hazardous or unknown substances; paint, solvents, oils, fuels, pesticides, chemicals, liquids, hot ash, propane and compressed cylinders; lithium or lead-acid batteries; electronics; sharps, medical or infectious waste; asbestos; tires; construction debris; heavy or bulky items; appliances; furniture; yard waste; animal remains; or any item the destination facility prohibits. A household origin does not make every waste safe to collect. Preparation Keep bins accessible outside, close lids, prevent leaking, secure animals, and provide accurate photos or instructions. Do not hide excluded waste in ordinary trash. Refusal and incident handling Collectors must stop if contents, weight, access, or containment are unsafe. They must document the issue and contact support. Customers may remove excluded items and request a revised booking. Collectors must not improvise disposal, open suspect hazardous containers, or leave a dangerous load in a public place. Call emergency services for an immediate threat. Disposal Eligible waste must be taken to a facility authorized and willing to accept the actual commercial load. Guuber must confirm facility arrangements before live operations. Resident-only disposal benefits must not be assumed available to paid collectors.
