Customer terms of service
Pilot draft for review. Guuber is not accepting real service bookings. Final legal entity details and jurisdiction-specific review are required before launch.
DRAFT • Indianapolis pilot • Effective only for demonstration until launch approval
1. Who we are and what you book
Guuber is a proposed marketplace for one-time collection of eligible bagged household waste in Indianapolis, Indiana. The legal operating entity, business address, and service contact must be identified before live service begins. Guuber arranges collection by approved providers; these terms do not represent that Guuber is a municipal trash service or affiliated with the City of Indianapolis. A requested window is an estimate until confirmed. Test bookings do not order actual collection.
2. Your account and authority
You must be at least 18, provide accurate contact and service information, and have authority to request removal from the property. Keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for waste you tender and for accurately describing its volume and contents. Do not provide another person's personal information without authorization.
3. Preparation and access
Place sealed bags in the selected bin size at an accessible designated outdoor location. Maximum pilot load is four bins, with each bag safely liftable and no more than 35 pounds. Do not overfill bins. Keep pets secured and access free of obstacles. Your limited permission extends only to the designated collection location during the agreed service window. Providers may not enter dwellings, force gates, move vehicles, or remove the bin itself.
4. Price and payment
The booking screen separately states collection, disposal allowance, platform fee, and the total. The price and accepted policy versions are saved with your order. Guuber does not add charges for unexpected materials or excess volume without your affirmative approval of a revised quote. If you decline, the provider must follow the cancellation and failed-pickup policy. In demonstration mode, all payments and refunds are simulated and no card details should be entered. When enabled, an external processor handles payment details.
5. Service exceptions and cancellation
The waste policy and cancellation policy shown at checkout are incorporated into your booking. Unsafe, inaccessible, misdescribed, or prohibited loads may be refused. Guuber will notify you of a material delay and offer support. Booking confirmation is not a guarantee that every requested item can legally be collected.
6. Loss, damage, and claims
Report damage or a collection problem through your booking's support action with available photos and details. Preserve evidence and take reasonable steps to prevent further loss. We ask that you report concerns promptly, preferably within 48 hours; this request does not shorten a nonwaivable statutory deadline. Guuber will investigate and coordinate with the provider and applicable insurers. No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional limitation of liability requires counsel review before launch.
7. Restrictions and termination
No illegal disposal requests, threatening conduct, false claims, payment abuse, or use of the platform to handle excluded waste. Guuber may suspend access to investigate fraud or safety issues and will provide a support channel to contest an account restriction. Termination does not eliminate valid accrued payment, refund, or legal obligations.
8. Disputes and applicable law
Contact Guuber through in-app support to seek an informal resolution. These draft terms propose Indiana law, subject to mandatory consumer protections and applicable jurisdictional rules. No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, liability cap, or shortened filing period is implemented in this draft. Venue, enforceability, and final remedies require Indiana counsel's review.
9. Updates and electronic acceptance
Material changes require a new published version and renewed acceptance where applicable. Existing booking records preserve the versions you accepted. You may open, print, and save the terms before accepting. See Electronic consent for record and access details.
